Principle’s CEO Craig Johnson Named 2008 Minnesota State University-Moorhead
College of Business and Industry Alumnus of the Year
 
Johnson among three graduates honored for outstanding success in their careers
 
 
October 20, 2008—Craig Johnson, founder and CEO of Principle Fixture and Millwork, was honored by Minnesota State University-Moorhead (MSUM) as College of Business and Industry Alumnus of the Year.  Johnson was one of three selected alumni to receive College of Business and Industry awards. The three recipients have achieved outstanding success in their careers and were honored during the university's Homecoming Week celebration on Saturday, October 4.
 
Johnson is president and CEO of Principle Fixture and Millwork in Osceola, Wis., a company with 85 employees that manufactures woodwork for retail stores, corporate offices and restaurants. He also is a former president of The Architectural Woodwork Institute from 1995-1996, he is a 1980 graduate of MSUM's technology department. Principle’s client list includes such top-name brands as Calvin Klein, American Girl, Polo and Pottery Barn.
 
A St. Paul, MN, native, Johnson started his career in the woodwork manufacturing industry as a project manager, estimator and general manager. He founded Principle Fixture and Millwork in Forest Lake in 1987 and moved the business to Osceola, WI, in 2000. Johnson and his wife live in Stillwater, MN, and have two grown children.
